Donations are needed *everywhere* in the area devistated by Katrina, but there are other ways to help if money is tight. You can
provide a home for people left without a place to live. Or you can
help rebuild. Wishing I lived closer so I could
do something other than raise funds, but I'll at least do that. Wishing everyone left homeless a corner somewhere that feels safe and comforting.
I'm scrambling to figure out how I can help best through donations and volunteering. It's hard being so far away from those in need - I only wish I could be of more direct help. But money will certainly help, and *that* we can find a way to give. My family is blessed with health and security so the least we can do is pass that on.
